Getting Help....
Oh no, you need help? Well your wireless service provider promised to help you out when you signed that TWO YEAR CONTRACT! Take advantage of customer service. I know, wait times can be horrible, the CS people can be really
awful but try to remember that the guy before you may very well have yelled at them or cussed 'em out or something. Be courteous and most likely you'll get courtesy in return.
Most carriers have *numbers. Like with Alltel and Cingular it's *611, there are usually other numbers too, and *number calls usually don't count against your plan minutes. Best times to call customer service or tech support are
usually early in the day, Tuesday - Thursday. Everybody who had a problem over the weekend will call in first thing Monday morning. Expect long wait times.
They really do want you to be happy with your service. Just remember that if you break your phone, it's not their fault. They can't fix it for you unless it's a manufacturer's defect and it's still under warranty. Broken phones have to be replaced, and if you don't replace the phone you're still going to have to pay for the service contract or buy your way out of it.
